This was a collaborative branding project with Becky Kelley to create a new identity for Genki Sushi. The project focused on the in-store dining experience of Genki's Capitol Hill location. Inspired by the vibrancy of Tokyo night life, the imagery is bright and bold. The overall aesthetic is playful without being silly. To ensure the needs of Capitol Hill residents are met, a mobile ordering app was designed. Large wall graphics, a grab & go refrigeration unit and the introduction of digital ordering interfaces revitalize the restaurant interior and help reinforce the brand promise of being "innovative, exciting, and approachable."
Polizzo Salami are artisanal slow-cured meats with a name steeped in continued tradition. For six generations the Bardo family has been the sole butcher in Salemi, Sicily. Working with neighboring farms and using only choice meats, Polizzo showcases unique local flavors. Named for the nearby ancient site, Monte Polizzo, these meats embody the heritage and history that has always inhabited the land.
Already Dead Magazine and Brand Extension
Already Dead began as a quarterly magazine positioned where bike culture and counter-culture meet. Each issue—focusing on a different city—is like a love letter from dedicated cyclists. Articles showcase the people and places that make each location great. With each issue, a large event is held in the featured city and a rising local artist is selected to create a limited edition shirt to coincide with the release. The shirts are sold exclusively on AlreadyDead.co, the main hub for Already Dead clothing, accessories, print magazine and updates.
