Becky Kelley is a playful and dynamic designer, specializing in print design, interaction design, motion graphics, and illustration. Her ability to clearly communicate and manage complex projects was honed during her years working in administration. Along with these skills, Becky approaches every project with a collaborative spirit and passion for the end goal.
BRAZEN is a serious and stylish quarterly feminist magazine that tackles controversial and timely topics within feminism. The magazine features articles, news, and stories that explore the boundaries of what it means to be a feminist while keeping its readers up-to-date on current events and culture. One bold accent color is used per issue along with engaging photography to create an informative magazine with a stylish twist.
Genki is a collaborative brand identity project with Benjamin Eisman to re-brand the Capitol Hill Genki Sushi location. Genki literally means "full of energy". We created a brand that is energetic, fun, and engaging for diners. The new approach for Genki Sushi engages first time diners, college students, and busy professionals by focusing on the in-store dining experience.
These are animated and kinetic typography videos created to promote a theatrical production of the musical Chicago. Theatre and Performing Arts companies are always looking to engage younger audiences to come and see live theatre. Created in After Effects, these videos are an example of using animated promotion to gain the interest of new potential audience members and foster engagement with a wider audience on social media.
In addition, a poster was created for this promotional package. The poster reflects the vignette style of the musical in which the songs are sectioned off from each other by an announcement similar to a vaudeville show. Each part of the poster tells a piece of the story, just like the songs in the musical itself.
