Kenmore Air
Kenmore Air is a family-owned seaplane company with scenic flights throughout the Northwest. The goal when rebranding was to improve their flying experience by creating an updated look, while referencing elements of design from the 1940s. Throughout this process, I branded Kenmore around the characteristics of being historic, distinguished, and adventurous—providing the Pacific Northwest with a journey in flight and craftsmanship since 1946.
Astroleap began as a challenge to create an app targeted at girls ages 10-14, to gather interest in exploring a career within the STEM fields. Through research, my partner and I decided to integrate the practice of these subjects with space travel. Over the course of two missions, the game is filled with important lessons from basic flight training physics, to historic and current science trivia, to speed tests in mathematics.
Shortened from the Latin word ‘Novaturient,’ meaning the desire for something new, Novatur is a low-budget travel, culture, and lifestyle inspiration magazine. Each issue of the monthly publication centers around a different location of the world, to give the reader a personal look into the region’s culture. The print version of Novatur inspired me to extend the brand by using the Origami Engine software to create a digital iPad version of the magazine.
