Photon
Photon is an app and paired device that is the ultimate photography assistant.
Problem: On set, studio photographers have to deal with a wide variety of both digital and analog user interfaces, often having to navigate the set to micro-manage each device.
Solution: Photon not only replaces the standard light meter, but acts as the center of the entire studio. Photon is able to remotely sync, adjust, and trigger lights and cameras. The photographer can now take light readings, remotely control the lighting setup, and upload photos to cloud storage, all from their mobile device.
My role was user research, user experience and interface design, branding, and video direction.
Nomad is a quarterly magazine about living small around the world. It focuses on the innovators and builders of the tiny-home movement, and the practical aspects of living in unconventional spaces on and off the grid. Whether you are just exploring this new way of living small, or planning on build a dwelling yourself, Nomad is the magazine that can get you there. Nomad is a small magazine with a big message.
My role was content editing, art direction, layout and printing.
Blanketo
Blanketo is a wonder of fabric engineering that helps with an age-old problem: Life is messy. Its water-proof base and absorbent top layer prevent any liquids from leaking through the blanket. Blanketo is looking to launch on Kickstarter later this year. My role was to help bring the fabric prototype into reality with brand identity design, package design, and video direction to promote the launch of the campaign. Just remember: Keep it clean.
