Aussielle is the ultimate online resource helping creative, career-driven Australian women live an authentic and intentional life. Aussielle celebrates today’s modern Australian woman. Developed with WordPress using HTML, CSS, and PHP to create a custom theme using custom plugins and widgets. The scope of the project involved user research and creating a marketing strategy, as well as building a web presence.
Spearmint Magazine
Spearmint is a monthly print magazine targeted at creative women that are street-smart and independent, seeking inspiration from pop culture's quirkier aspects. Spearmint is dedicated to uncovering the latest trends and creative talent.
The process of designing the magazine started with user research, and included developing a mood board, laying out a flat plan to include advertisements, creating patterns and illustrations, sourcing articles, and curating photography. Cover illustration by Kris Atomic.
Māṁ ḍŏkṭara App
Māṁ ḍŏkṭara is an app to monitor pregnancy and provide education; designed for healthcare workers in remote villages in India. With the rapid advancement of technologies and the falling device cost, the smart phone is the ideal device for improving health care. By the end of 2015, three quarters of India will be covered by a 4G network. Creating Māṁ ḍŏkṭara consisted of in-depth academic research, empathy maps, personas, and user testing. Māṁ ḍŏkṭara has an easy to use interface with minimal text to prevent literacy being a barrier of use.
