Daft Punk: This pattern-based poster represents Daft Punk’s techie and simplistic music style. The colors gold, silver, and navy blue match the mood of the Paramount, one of the most majestic theaters in Seattle.
LIFE: The poster represents the quote, “Life is what happens to you while you're busy making plans.” by John Lennon. To capture the essence of this quote, I drew a girl pushing through the chaos of all the busy activities going on in her life.
Mary Poppins: I chose the concept “fantasy and reality” for this Mary Poppins musical poster. I put Mr. Banks in the center of the poster as a metaphor for reality. The audience is also part of this reality. The characters around Mr. Banks hold him kindly and welcome him home.
This animation performance represents my playful style and passion to break out of the ordinary.
During a two-month time period, I created a simple shape projection that interacts with my performance.
Kenmore Air is a local seaplane airline which has offered spectacular adventures for over 70 years. Through our research we figured out their brand characteristics are “adventure”, “northwest”, and “personal.” We combined these aspects to build their new brand concept “Your Personal Wings.” As a concept color, we made their yellow more saturated to make it more vibrant. The yellow contrasting with the black sets a mood of trust and professionalism. Finally, the blue is an adventurous and lively color which represents sky, water, and sea.
